Hi All

I've hopefully attached some photos of the issue I'm having with the kicker block and the mast fixing. The block is cracked and will likely need replacing and cannot find one as of yet..Alternatives??

The main point is the fixing point - surely that's not correct what mine has?

Also, rusty screw at mast base - normal or has it been replaced? Obviously I'll upgrade it but just curious

Any help gratefully received

Try this:
www.sailboats.co.uk/swivelling-cleat-pla...l-cleat-and-fairlead

Looks like the mounting has been bodged by a previous owner using non-stainless fastenings. I would remove the heel plug (will likely need a lot of persuading with freeing oil, heat/cold and brute force), then bolt the swivel back on with long ss machine screws, putting big washers or a plate beneath the nuts inside the mast, then refit the plug with big screws, smothering everything with sealant or such as Duralac.
